Single Origin Coffee, as the name suggests, comes from a specific area, e.g. a single farm, region or a country. Single Origin Coffees have unique characteristics, flavour and aroma specific to the region.
African coffees have higher acidity and are fruity in flavour, with notes of berry, lemon, and other citrus fruits. South American coffee is known for its mild and balanced flavour profiles, as well as a sweet aroma and nutty aftertaste. Coffees from Central America are typically medium to full-bodied, with a rich, smooth, and chocolatey flavour. Asian and Pacific Island coffees have a distinct flavour profile, with a heavier body and earthy notes.
