Where We Started...
Established in 2012 by Petra and Graham, Redber rooted itself in Merrow just outside of Guildford, in a humble workshop with just one 2kg batch roaster. After what seemed like endless cold winters and sweltering summers in our small workshop, we’re now happily settled in a much bigger unit (opposite our original site) with three small-batch roasters and a larger Ghibli roaster. We even invested in an espresso machine to serve our coffees on site!
We’re passionate about great quality coffee, grown and traded fairly. We have a growing number of organic and Fairtrade certified coffee beans, however we responsibly source each of our coffees and work with a number of charities – most notably Seeds for Development.
With over 40 single origin coffee beans, delicious in-house blends and a wide range of decaf coffees, you can discover a whole world of flavour from our roastery. With our ever-growing collection of 100% Arabica coffees from around the globe - from chocolatey and nutty, to earthy and spicy flavour notes - there is something for everyone, whether for your home brewing or your business needs.
We are now one of the fasting growing coffee roasters in the uk and roast to order 6 days a week, so our beans are always fresh and never stored. We welcome walk-in customers at our roastery, however we stock only the small amount of the remaining roasted coffee from our orders, so if you have a particular coffee you’d like to come and collect just give us a call, we can roast it fresh for you!
You can shop all of our coffees and our range of brewing equipment, filter papers, cleaning essentials and barista tools online; stocking trusted brands such as Bodum, Melitta, Jura, Hario and Rhinowares to name a few. Meaning everything you will need to make your perfect cup of coffee can be found at Redber.
Our customers are as diverse as our coffee beans - from the domestic coffee lover to the caffeine fuelled office, we roast and send our coffee all over the UK and Europe.
