Really great taste

I bought this as a present, so I have only unboxed it and visually checked to see that nothing was broken, and thankfully everything looks OK.

So why did I choose it? Mainly to brew a batch of filter coffee for the two of us or when the whole family drop by. Also for simplicity (it just has one on/off switch & that's it), so as long as I get my grind size right and the ratio of coffee to water then based on its reputation/reviews it does the rest and it does it very quickly.

I was a little torn between this model (with steel/glass lined carafe) and the other Moccamaster with a glass jug and hot plate. However as this one was on sale at the time it made my decision a bit of a no brainer. Of course I might have to tweak my grind size/coffee ratio for a half/full batch, but having an almost unbreakable carafe that keeps your coffee hot without loosing any flavour sat on a hot plate seems to be more desirable.

If possible I will post an update to the review once I have used it, but having a simple hand built product with a classic design made in the Netherlands, and with a five year warranty I don't think I will be disappointed.

Amazing quality beans great value

I bought this kettle for making pour over coffee in my Chemex. The handle is comfortable to hold, the gooseneck design is great for making my coffee, and it looks good on the counter. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

I couldn't get spares for my previous frother, so it ended up in the local tip.

However thanks to REDBER you can easily pick up a genuine Melitta spare part and also spares for many other brands that they sell.

This device produces excellent frothed milk (or a milk alternative) either warm or cold and with a capacity of 110-150ml to add to your brewed coffee. It also just heats a larger quantity of milk without the froth, but I have not tried this myself. Its very quick and a very quiet especially compared to my previous frother.

You definitely need a saucer or tray handy to place the lid when you remove it. It doesn't have a pouring lip, but I can easily pour it into my coffee mug without spilling. I then use a plastic spoon (rather than a metal spoon) to scoop out the remaining froth to prevent any damage to the jug's non-stick coating.

The lid and whisk can go in the dishwasher but I just rinse under a tap. The jug itself should not be immersed in water, so a gentle wipe out with a damp dish cloth with some warm water and washing up liquid and then dried with tea towel is all that is needed. If you need to use the jug again immediately then leave it to cool for a minute before adding your next batch of milk.

My first batch of Columbian beans in a while and I wasn't disappointed. I slowly roasted them, which created this lovely chocolaty brown colour. After brewing... the first cup was delicious. Strong aroma with sensuous taste ...

I must be on my 9th 1kg order of this bean. It's far and away my favourite coffee ever. This Dark roast is a totally different flavour to the medium roast which i once ordered in error. Im terrified to risk anything else now incase it dosent come up to scratch. Good service from the Redber team but I wish postage wasn't 20% of the cost.

I like this coffee which is good to drink, as it says, at any time of the day. Smooth taste - delicious!

I bought some of our favourite decaf coffee pre-ground (we usually have beans) to take away on holiday so we could continue to enjoy the coffee we liked whilst abroad.
