Delivery and Returns

Delivery Update 06/08/25 – Royal Mail 48
Many Royal Mail 48 deliveries are delayed in certain areas due Royal Mail scanning issues and staff shortages. The Royal Mail tracking simply says 'We are expecting it'. This is not correct. Royal Mail collects from Redber daily at 16h00.  All our orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.  Please allow a little extra time for your order to arrive. If your parcel is urgent we suggest you use the 24 hour service. 

Due to the poor services our customers are receiving from Royal Mail we will be reviewing the companies we use for delivery in the coming months.

At Redber, we roast all our coffee to order to ensure maximum freshness. We aim to roast and dispatch your coffee on the same day your order is placed. Roasting takes place six days a week, Monday to Saturday, with dispatches occurring Monday to Friday.

We do our best to process and dispatch all orders by 4:00pm daily. However, during busy periods, please allow an additional working day as a contingency in case of a roasting backlog.

Free UK Mainland Delivery on Orders Over £40

  • Standard Tracked Delivery (2–5 working days) – Free
  • Express Tracked Delivery (1–2 working days) – £5.00 (Please note: delivery services do not guarantee next-day delivery with roasted-to-order coffee)

For Orders Under £40

  • Standard Tracked Delivery (2–5 working days) – £3.95
  • Express Tracked Delivery (1–2 working days) – £4.95 (Next-day delivery is not guaranteed with roasted-to-order coffee.)

Delivery Exceptions

  • Free delivery applies to Mainland UK only.
  • Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands and Islands (0.01kg - 5kg): £5.00
  • Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands and Islands (5.01kg - 30kg): £15.00 
  • Delivery to PO Boxes & BFPO is not available.
  • All delivery charges include VAT.

For orders exceeding 100kg, please contact us directly for a quote. If your order is unusually large or heavy, additional delivery charges may apply. In such cases, we will contact you before dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by external factors beyond our control. While we work with reliable partners like Royal Mail and DPD, no courier can guarantee next-day delivery with complete certainty.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will offer a replacement or a refund where appropriate.

We recommend inspecting your goods before signing for them. If this isn't possible, please sign as ‘unexamined’. Any visible damage should be reported to the delivery driver at the time of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include photographs of the damaged goods when you get in touch.

Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned unused, in perfect condition, and in their original, unopened packaging. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Please allow up to 14 working days for the return and refund process.

To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@redber.co.uk or call 01483 80 85 80, quoting your order number (found in your order confirmation email and packing slip).

Exemptions from the Right to Cancel

The right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Goods that are perishable or have a short shelf life
  • Customised or personalised items
  • Items sealed for hygiene reasons that have been unsealed after delivery
  • Services that have already been completed

As all our coffee is roasted to order and customised for your chosen brew method, some products may not be eligible for cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty or not as described.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used. We aim to process all refunds promptly and efficiently.

Finding the right coffee for the first time doesn’t need to be complicated. Our Intro Coffee Taster Pack is designed as an easy, reassuring starting point - three carefully chosen coffees that show what good, freshly roasted coffee should taste like.

Each coffee in this pack is selected for balance, approachability, and consistency, offering different flavour profiles without anything too sharp or overwhelming. It’s ideal if you’re new to Redber, buying coffee online for the first time, or simply want a reliable introduction to our range.

All coffees are 100% Arabica, roasted fresh to order in small batches.

What’s Inside the Intro Coffee Taster Pack:

  • Guatemala Antigua – Medium-Dark Roast: Clean and well-structured, with notes of cocoa, caramel and subtle spice. A slightly more complex cup that still feels smooth and reassuring, offering depth without heaviness.
  • Colombia Excelso Huila – Medium-Dark Roast: Balanced and versatile, with soft citrus brightness layered over chocolate and caramel notes. This coffee adds a little lift while remaining rounded and approachable, making it a favourite for everyday brewing.
  • Brazil Santos – Dark Roast Smooth, mellow and comforting, with classic notes of milk chocolate, nuts and gentle sweetness. Low acidity and easy to enjoy, this is a familiar, crowd-pleasing coffee that works beautifully at any time of day.

Fantastic Taster Pack!

I am loving the taster pack purchased at Redber. Super fast delivery, with all coffee beans in recycle friendly packaging. So far we have tried Guatemala / Antigue and Monsoon Malabar and both were fantastic. Thanks to Redber coffee beans, I started using my grinder and coffee machine again. Nothing beats the smell of freshly made coffee in the morning!

Great tasting coffee

I purchased a Taster Pack, so far have only tried one of the coffees, which was just right for me - depth of flavour, rich and mellow, not bitter at all. I am looking forward to trying the three other coffees in the pack. I have awarded 4 stars, as I find it awkward spooning the coffee out of the somewhat narrow slot of the packet. Obviously I understand the reason for this type of pack - I will just have to decant from now on.
