Delivery and Returns

Delivery Update 06/08/25 – Royal Mail 48
Many Royal Mail 48 deliveries are delayed in certain areas due Royal Mail scanning issues and staff shortages. The Royal Mail tracking simply says 'We are expecting it'. This is not correct. Royal Mail collects from Redber daily at 16h00.  All our orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.  Please allow a little extra time for your order to arrive. If your parcel is urgent we suggest you use the 24 hour service.

Due to the poor services our customers are receiving from Royal Mail we will be reviewing the companies we use for delivery in the coming months.

You can find the latest updates from Royal Mail here.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Brewing Methods and Serving Suggestions

To enjoy a smooth and well-rounded cup, brew this medium-dark roast using a drip coffee maker or a V60 pour-over method, which enhances its chocolatey and herbal notes while maintaining its clean finish. If you prefer a traditional brew, using a siphon brewer will bring out the full body and low acidity, resulting in a smooth and flavourful cup.

too strong, generic flat notes.

For me this one is just another strong coffee with no distinct layers and notes, roast too dark, could do with a light roast.

Beans are not uniformly roasted. It looks like they scraped the bottom of different bags. Some beans are pretty oily while others look light to medium roasted. I will try different grind sizes and see how they do. For more than a year quality of roasting has gone down badly.

the best coffee I've ever had - and I've drunk a lot of coffee over the last 60 years

Every so often I make myself try another coffee - but it's never quite as good as this one. Its flavour combines strength, depth and richness and is meltingly mellow without a hint of 'edge' or bitterness.
I love the unparalleled freshness of Redber coffee and their fantastic friendly and flexible customer service. Having a coffee subscription with Redber is good for my mental health!

Great service from Redber but didn’t enjoy this coffee so much

Sumatra Mandeheling used to be my favourite coffee but I now find that I prefer some of the beans that (I think) have a more subtle flavour and taste.

Excellent!

This coffee gives me the flavour without the acidity of other coffees which I like but which my stomach doesn't.

Thank to the staff at Reder and their patient advice!
