Colombian Speciality Coffee

Colombia Finca Sofia is sourced from small producers across the regions of Antioquia, Risaralda and Valle in Colombia, where high altitudes and ideal growing conditions help produce coffees with sweetness, structure and depth.

Roasted darker to develop fuller body and deeper caramelised flavours, this speciality coffee focuses on richness, balance and smooth drinkability. Notes of banoffee, toasted walnuts and chocolate create a bold yet approachable cup suited to both espresso and everyday brewing.

The predominantly Castillo variety is carefully wet-processed and dried either on patios or in mechanical driers depending on weather conditions. This processing method helps maintain clarity and consistency while supporting the coffee’s smooth body and sweet finish.

What Makes Colombia Finca Sofia Unique?

Colombia Finca Sofia stands out for its combination of deep sweetness, rich body and smooth drinkability. While many Colombian coffees focus on brighter fruit notes, this darker roast develops a fuller, more comforting profile with notes of banoffee, toasted walnuts and chocolate.

Sourced from small producers across Colombia’s renowned coffee-growing regions, the coffee benefits from high-altitude cultivation, careful wet-processing and consistent drying methods that help preserve sweetness and structure. The darker roast profile enhances its caramelised richness while maintaining balance and clarity.

Who Will Enjoy Colombia Finca Sofia?

Colombia Finca Sofia is ideal for coffee drinkers who enjoy bold, smooth coffees with rich chocolate and caramelised flavours. It is especially suited to espresso lovers, bean-to-cup users and anyone looking for a fuller-bodied speciality coffee that works well both black and with milk.

If you enjoy classic coffee shop-style espresso with sweetness, depth and a long satisfying finish, Colombia Finca Sofia is an excellent choice for everyday brewing.

Banoffee Dream

We were a little sceptical when the description said this had notes of Banoffee in its flavour profile. but it is definitely there! Lovely smooth coffee which can give a nice espresso but also has a lovely rich crema if you go for an espresso.

Mild coffee

A mild favour and a little bit sour. Buttery as described. Not to my liking - not good for expresso coffee.

Very Good Coffee, Very Reasonable Price.

Coffe is good value and I would use them again. My only problem was that I paid for priority delivery, but received the coffee beans nearly a week after ordering. Redder use DHL, and they kept the package in transit, the updates were incorrect and there’s not much that Redber could do about it. The fact I paid extra for a sub standard service puts me off a bit. Perhaps they should consider using another carrier. Coffee and service from Redber were excellent though.
