We’ve used freshly emptied, wet, Jack Daniel’s barrels to age our stunning Organic Colombian Pachamama green coffee beans for 12 weeks.
Our coffee beans have been hand rolled daily to ensure all the coffee beans come into contact with the barrel.
After aging the green beans we roast them to order to a medium dark profile, which we feel produces the perfect balance of sweet honey bourbon notes, along with the Patchamama’s blackberry, chocolate and honey notes”

This is special. Took a punt on a small packet and wish I bought more! A really unique flavour and you can really taste the whiskey ageing! Perfect Sunday afternoon in the sun coffee!
The sour mash effect is strong and to me overpowers the more delicate and wanted flavours. Brewing temprerature is quite critical as is time.
This coffee is superb. Best start to any morning. No fuss ordering. Highly recommended.
I love coffee, particularly Nicaragua Matagalpa beans and I love whiskey, particularly bourbon. But these beans have taught me to keep these loves separate. I could have purchased double the coffee I like for the same price. Shame.
