Bourbon Barrel Aged Whiskey Infused Coffee - Nicaragua Matagalpa
Limited Edition - We have taken our single origin speciality coffee and combined it with barrel aged bourbon whiskey to create an exciting and unique, must have drinking experience! …..
We’ve used freshly emptied, wet, Jack Daniel’s barrels to age our stunning Organic Colombian Pachamama beans for 12 weeks.
Our beans have been hand rolled daily to ensure all the coffee beans come into contact with the barrel.
After aging the green beans we roast them to order to a medium dark profile, which we feel produces the perfect balance of sweet honey bourbon notes, along with the Patchamama’s blackberry, chocolate and honey notes”
This is a small batch, limited edition project.
Like drinking a Whisky rather than having a coffee with a hint of Bourbon. For my personal taste too strong while using V60. I love black coffee but this one I'd rather recommend if you do an Irish Coffee with cream and Baileys. That's actually really perfect all together.
Sorry, we did not like the last bourbon whisky coffee, the smell put us off totally. All other types from you very good.
This was bought for my son to try, but it tasted really sour and now we’ve all tasted it, we’ve decided its unfortunately not for us. It was ordered on Thursday for 48 hour delivery, but it didn’t arrive until 4pm Monday evening - it wasn’t obvious to me that that this service didn’t deliver at weekends although the regular delivery does, and as I live locally it would have usually have arrived on the Saturday. This was a one off disappointing experience with Redber, we’ve ordered many different coffees from them and have really enjoyed them all, but this one we struggled with!
This coffee was amazing! At first I was dubious as the smell of coffee in bad had a particularly strong bourbon smell. I do love bourbon so it wasn’t the bourbon smell itself that alarmed me, was just worried that it would taste fake, perfume-y or somehow sweet. But it didn’t, it was pure luxury. This is now my new favourite Redber coffee.
New, exciting and delicious. Very impressed with the pungent whiskey flavours.
