Delivery Update 06/08/25 – Royal Mail 48
Many Royal Mail 48 deliveries are delayed in certain areas due Royal Mail scanning issues and staff shortages. The Royal Mail tracking simply says 'We are expecting it'. This is not correct. Royal Mail collects from Redber daily at 16h00. All our orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours. Please allow a little extra time for your order to arrive. If your parcel is urgent we suggest you use the 24 hour service.
Due to the poor services our customers are receiving from Royal Mail we will be reviewing the companies we use for delivery in the coming months.

At Redber, we roast all our coffee to order to ensure maximum freshness. We aim to roast and dispatch your coffee on the same day your order is placed. Roasting takes place six days a week, Monday to Saturday, with dispatches occurring Monday to Friday.
We do our best to process and dispatch all orders by 4:00pm daily. However, during busy periods, please allow an additional working day as a contingency in case of a roasting backlog.
For orders exceeding 100kg, please contact us directly for a quote. If your order is unusually large or heavy, additional delivery charges may apply. In such cases, we will contact you before dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by external factors beyond our control. While we work with reliable partners like Royal Mail and DPD, no courier can guarantee next-day delivery with complete certainty.
You may include delivery instructions when placing your order to help ensure a smoother delivery process.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will offer a replacement or a refund where appropriate.
We recommend inspecting your goods before signing for them. If this isn't possible, please sign as ‘unexamined’. Any visible damage should be reported to the delivery driver at the time of delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include photographs of the damaged goods when you get in touch.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned unused, in perfect condition, and in their original, unopened packaging. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Please allow up to 14 working days for the return and refund process.

As all our coffee is roasted to order and customised for your chosen brew method, some products may not be eligible for cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty or not as described.

Papua New Guinea Kenta Dark Roast offers a bold and robust coffee experience that brings out the rich and complex flavours unique to the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. This dark roast enhances the deep notes of cedar and malt while highlighting the smooth body and tea-like qualities of the beans. The berry undertones add a subtle fruity sweetness, while the clean and consistent finish leaves a pleasant aftertaste. This coffee is perfect for those who enjoy a full-bodied and flavourful cup with a layered and distinctive profile.
The rich and bold profile of Papua New Guinea Kenta Dark Roast is best suited for espresso machines and moka pots, which accentuate its deep cedar and malt notes, providing a creamy and intense cup. Bean-to-cup machines also enhance its full-bodied character, delivering a smooth, satisfying coffee experience that pairs well with milk-based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos or can be enjoyed black for a more intense flavour.
Papua New Guinea Kenta coffee is sourced from the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, specifically the region of Goroka. Known for its mountainous topography and incredible cultural diversity, Papua New Guinea's coffee production is unique due to its decentralized approach, with many "coffee gardens" being small plots managed by indigenous communities. Coffee is the country's second-largest agricultural export, grown across approximately 210,000 acres.
The Kenta coffee is an A-grade offering from the NGHCE, grown on the outskirts of the town of Goroka at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. The coffee cherries are handpicked by local clans and pulped on the same day. The beans undergo a fermentation process in cement vats for 36 hours and are then washed with fresh mountain stream water from the nearby Tua River. Finally, the beans are sun-dried for 7-12 days, resulting in a beautiful bluish colour. This meticulous processing ensures a high-quality cup with clean, consistent flavours.
