Delivery and Returns

Delivery Update 06/08/25 – Royal Mail 48
Many Royal Mail 48 deliveries are delayed in certain areas due Royal Mail scanning issues and staff shortages. The Royal Mail tracking simply says 'We are expecting it'. This is not correct. Royal Mail collects from Redber daily at 16h00.  All our orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.  Please allow a little extra time for your order to arrive. If your parcel is urgent we suggest you use the 24 hour service.

Due to the poor services our customers are receiving from Royal Mail we will be reviewing the companies we use for delivery in the coming months.

You can find the latest updates from Royal Mail here.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Sumatra Mandheling Coffee Origin and Details

Grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Leuser near the port of Padang in the Batak region of Sumatra, Sumatra Mandheling Grade 1 coffee benefits from the rich, fertile soil and high altitudes (800 to 1,500 metres) typical of Indonesian islands. The coffee undergoes the traditional Giling Basah (wet-hulled) process, giving it a signature dark colour and distinctive flavour profile. The beans are hand-picked three times (Triple-Picked) to ensure only cherries at optimum ripeness are used, resulting in a consistent and high-quality cup.

  • Region: Batak, Sumatra, Indonesia
  • Altitude: 800 to 1,500 m.a.s.l
  • Variety: Catimor, Typica
  • Harvest Period: June - December
  • Processing Method: Giling Basah (wet-hulled), sun-dried

This was a struggle

I am a dark roast lover who drinks espresso's black.
I couldn't get into this coffee at all. I am no stranger to tobacco, spicy notes (Monsoon is my favourite) but this was a muddled mix of notes for me.
