fantastic coffee maker and great value. Melitta filters let a bit more through than Hario V60 standard papers do. they're also unbleached, which i prefer. The resulting cup is not completely transparent as a v60 brew is, but with a bit more body & fuller flavour. My favourite two beans are the Ethiopia Sidamo and the Brazil Barbosa, and this makes both perfectly! one tip: boil a kettle and do 2:1 with water to bloom while the machine heats up - you can let the water drip down into a clean jug and pur back in to the tank. After a minute or 90 seconds, the water is hot enough to brew with properly and you're good to go - just swing the basket back under, put the jug underneith and let it do it's thing!
So far very happy with this machine
Excellent product and service over and above our expectations. Machine Is very versatile and easy to set up and use. Very pleased we chose this particular model as it fits into our kitchen perfectly.
Nice machine - I enjoy how the coffee stays hot in the insulated pot vs. needing to be constantly reheated. As long as you have at least two cups of coffee remaining it stays hot for hours. Also - I did a price compare with Amazon etc. and they were all the same, so it's great to order from Redber for the free sample coffees!
Excellent filter coffee maker which benefits so much from having the thermal jug and no hot plate. Excellent service from Redber as usual.
