What Makes Kenya Bora Special?
Kenya Bora is grown by members of the Iyego Farmers Cooperative in Kenya's highlands, where rich volcanic soils and elevations of 1,500 to 1,700 metres provide ideal conditions for producing exceptional coffee. The cooperative is supported by the Global Coffee Village programme, helping farmers maintain high quality standards while supporting sustainable farming practices.
Produced from a blend of SL28, SL34 and Ruiru 11 varieties, the coffee is fully washed to enhance clarity and balance. The medium-dark roast develops rich caramel sweetness and a fuller body while allowing the classic Kenyan blackcurrant character to shine through.
Who Will Enjoy Kenya Bora?
Kenya Bora is ideal for coffee drinkers who enjoy rich, fruit-forward coffees with natural sweetness and a fuller body. Its balanced profile makes it an excellent choice for both filter brewing and espresso, offering the distinctive character of Kenyan coffee in a smooth, approachable cup.
