Delivery Update 06/08/25 – Royal Mail 48
Many Royal Mail 48 deliveries are delayed in certain areas due Royal Mail scanning issues and staff shortages. The Royal Mail tracking simply says 'We are expecting it'. This is not correct. Royal Mail collects from Redber daily at 16h00. All our orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours. Please allow a little extra time for your order to arrive. If your parcel is urgent we suggest you use the 24 hour service.
Due to the poor services our customers are receiving from Royal Mail we will be reviewing the companies we use for delivery in the coming months.

At Redber, we roast all our coffee to order to ensure maximum freshness. We aim to roast and dispatch your coffee on the same day your order is placed. Roasting takes place six days a week, Monday to Saturday, with dispatches occurring Monday to Friday.
We do our best to process and dispatch all orders by 4:00pm daily. However, during busy periods, please allow an additional working day as a contingency in case of a roasting backlog.
For orders exceeding 100kg, please contact us directly for a quote. If your order is unusually large or heavy, additional delivery charges may apply. In such cases, we will contact you before dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by external factors beyond our control. While we work with reliable partners like Royal Mail and DPD, no courier can guarantee next-day delivery with complete certainty.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will offer a replacement or a refund where appropriate.
We recommend inspecting your goods before signing for them. If this isn't possible, please sign as ‘unexamined’. Any visible damage should be reported to the delivery driver at the time of delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include photographs of the damaged goods when you get in touch.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned unused, in perfect condition, and in their original, unopened packaging. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Please allow up to 14 working days for the return and refund process.

As all our coffee is roasted to order and customised for your chosen brew method, some products may not be eligible for cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty or not as described.

HONDURAS SHG FINCA SANTA ROSA - Dark Roast Coffee
Honduras SHG Finca Santa Rosa Dark Roast offers a bold and full-bodied coffee experience with deep notes of rich cacao, nutmeg, and a touch of orange acidity. The dark roast level enhances the natural sweetness and brings out a creamy texture with an intense dark chocolate aroma. The result is a rich and balanced cup that lingers on the palate with a pleasant cocoa finish.
This dark roast is ideal for espresso-based drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, and Americanos, where the deep and bold flavours can stand up well to milk. It also works beautifully in cafetiere and moka pot brewing methods, delivering a robust and well-rounded cup with a smooth finish.
Sourced from the El Paraiso region in the south of Honduras, near the border with Nicaragua, this coffee is grown at an altitude of 1,300 metres by Finca Santa Rosa, owned by Mario Segura. The farm uses a state-of-the-art wet mill that ensures minimal water waste and high efficiency, supporting sustainable farming practices. With the help of a quality control technician, the farm meets Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) standards, with a recent cupping score of 84.
Good tasting coffee and would order again apart from one big issue. I heard a loud clatter from my grinder, the next grind went completely wrong. When I checked my burrs had been damaged so I suspected a stone had gone through. When I looked through the remaining beans I found a stone as shown in the picture. So is this bean grower prone to delivery stones? Should Redber find them? It cost me £50 for new top and bottom burrs. I may not order this one again despite is great taste.
