Delivery Update 06/08/25 – Royal Mail 48
Many Royal Mail 48 deliveries are delayed in certain areas due Royal Mail scanning issues and staff shortages. The Royal Mail tracking simply says 'We are expecting it'. This is not correct. Royal Mail collects from Redber daily at 16h00. All our orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours. Please allow a little extra time for your order to arrive. If your parcel is urgent we suggest you use the 24 hour service.
Due to the poor services our customers are receiving from Royal Mail we will be reviewing the companies we use for delivery in the coming months.
You can find the latest updates from Royal Mail here.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
At Redber, we roast all our coffee to order to ensure maximum freshness. We aim to roast and dispatch your coffee on the same day your order is placed. Roasting takes place six days a week, Monday to Saturday, with dispatches occurring Monday to Friday.
We do our best to process and dispatch all orders by 4:00pm daily. However, during busy periods, please allow an additional working day as a contingency in case of a roasting backlog.
For orders exceeding 100kg, please contact us directly for a quote. If your order is unusually large or heavy, additional delivery charges may apply. In such cases, we will contact you before dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by external factors beyond our control. While we work with reliable partners like Royal Mail and DPD, no courier can guarantee next-day delivery with complete certainty.
You may include delivery instructions when placing your order to help ensure a smoother delivery process.

Ethiopia Sidama Gr. 2 Medium-Dark Roast provides a smooth and well-rounded coffee experience that accentuates the natural flavours of the Sidama beans. This roast level enhances the tea-like and lemony notes while adding a subtle depth and richness to the cup.
The smooth and balanced profile of Ethiopia Sidama Gr. 2 Medium-Dark Roast shines best when brewed using a drip filter machine, which highlights the coffee’s lemony brightness and floral aroma while preserving its soft, smooth body. This roast also works beautifully in a cafetière, where the enhanced depth and complexity can be fully appreciated, providing a rich and flavourful cup that is perfect for any time of day.
Ethiopia Sidama coffee comes from the Sidama region, located south of Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa. This region is renowned for its ideal coffee-growing conditions, with altitudes ranging from 1,600 to 1,900 meters above sea level, rich volcanic soil, ample rainfall, and optimal temperatures. These conditions make Sidama one of Ethiopia's most productive and sought-after coffee regions, known for producing high-quality beans with distinct flavours and a unique character.
The Sidama beans are of the Typica variety and are fully washed to ensure clarity and consistency in the cup. The washed processing method involves removing the mucilage from the coffee cherries before fermentation, resulting in a cleaner, brighter cup with enhanced acidity and refined flavours. The Grade 2 classification for Sidama coffee indicates a high-quality washed coffee with minimal defects (4-12 defects per 300g), showcasing the careful attention to detail in its production.
Ethiopia is believed to be the birthplace of coffee, with wild Coffea Arabica plants growing in the forests of the Kaffa region. Ethiopian coffees, especially those from Sidama, are celebrated for their varied and distinctive flavour profiles, which can range from sweet and fruity to floral and tea-like.
Ethiopia Sidama Gr. 2 is a great choice for those who appreciate a vibrant and distinctive cup that reflects the unique terroir of Ethiopia
