Healthy Coffee Smoothie Recipe

It's that time of year again where many of us are trying to pursue our new years resolution of healthy eating, and committing to being a healthier you for 2018 can be a challenge! Whether you are failing at sticking to it or if you are on a roll already, we have the perfect smoothie recipe to kick start your morning.

This quick and easy recipe is perfect for breakfast on the go, and will keep you fuelled throughout the day with an added caffeine kick!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Shot of Espresso
  • Banana
  • 120ml Semi Skimmed Milk (or the milk of your choice)
  • 30g Porridge Oats
  • Tbsp of Honey (Optional) 

Method:

Simply add the banana, espresso shot, milk, oats and honey (optional) into a blender, and blitz until smooth.

Enjoy at home, at work or on the go!

What an easy and delicious recipe, thanks for sharing! Keeping to new year’s resolutions is a struggle indeed, but recipes like these definitely make it a bit easier, and then you get your caffeine kick and your morning nourishment all in one go, even better! It would be great to see how different blends of espresso change the taste of the smoothie as well.
