3 (cups) Is The Magic Number - The Cost Of Coffee

Recent studies have concluded that drinking 3 cups of coffee a day can actually help you live longer.

Dr Veronica Setiawan of the University of Southern California noted that “coffee contains a lot of antioxidants and phenolic compounds that play an important role in cancer prevention.”

Not only this but Dr Marc Gunter of the UN International Agency for Research on Cancer added that they “found higher coffee consumption was associated with a lower risk of death from any cause, and specifically for circulatory diseases, and digestive diseases.”

The effect of coffee on health has long been debated and these recent conclusions have been the focus for almost every media outlet of late – social media has been awash with countless re-writings of the same article and while it’s interesting for coffee lovers and producers alike, we decided to take a look at the real cost of 3 cups a day!

We looked at the price per cup across supermarkets, high street cafes and roasters. Here’s what we found*
