How does it work in the microwave?
We’ve been working closely with our manufacturers to bring you this new and innovative microwave-safe steel. We know it sounds counter-intuitive as everyone knows you can’t put metal objects in a microwave. But, this is largely to do with the shape, and type of metal used. Objects with sharp or pointed edges cause reflection as the microwave rotates, which can then cause sparking. Our meal prep sets have been specifically designed using high quality steel and a rounded smooth edge, so do not cause sparking and can be used safely in the microwave. They adhere to extremely high safety standards and have been tested rigorously. Both bowl and Lid are microwave-safe.
