Brazil Santos - Medium-Dark Roast

Got 3kg in July that i was so happy with that I ordered another 5kg in September, just open a bag like week ago and coffee taste completely different the the one I ordered in July. Smells like it’s been perfume and taste like it. Don’t know what happened as I thought after first 3kg that I found perfect coffee beans for me. I don’t know how about the 4kg left that I haven’t opened yet. If same then I just wasted my money. Can’t recommend unfortunately.

It is my fav Brazilian coffee, mild and naturally nutty and sweet.

My go to for a rich coffee that’s smoother than an Italian or French roast.

I strangely found I needed quite a coarse grind. Once I found the right spot, I was rewarded with a nice strong espresso, with very little acidity and a loads of crema. It is going straight in my rotation with Cafe Francais and the Italian blend. Absolutely superb!

Brazil Santos is our favorite coffee. It is sweet with low acidity and a smooth finish, making it perfect for Americanos and flat whites.

Make a lovely flat white Would recommend

Using a Sage Barista machine and this was easy to dial in using a courser grind than average (7) and consistently producing a mellower taste without much acidity at a 2:1 ratio. Beyond all these numbers it makes for a nice flat white and small americano. Enjoying it so far.

REALLY tasty and works well as both straight shots or mixed with milk in a cortado/latte. 5 stars.

Very nice coffee.

After a change in taste and quality the previous month, normal service has resumed and this remains smooth and silky, with a great flavour and long finish.

This is my regular subscription delivery, this time it lacked the depth of flavour I'm used to. Also - I use a cafetière - noticeably less "mousse" when I pour the water over. Hopefully just a one-off, I'll report back next month.

I am using redber for a quiet a while now. Love coffe and found cleaning products for my Melitta best value for money.

It's a great all-day coffee, better in that respect than the dark roast, and has been my monthly subscription choice for dome time now. I still have a couple of other beans from Redber for variety, but this has established itself as my "House Bean".

Overall it was great to try different beans from different part of the world they are all different but you never get disappointed as they all bring different types of flavours we enjoy very much!!!

I've had Colombian Pachamama on subscription for several months and enjoyed it very much, but tried Brazil Santos as part of the Taster Pack and loved it immediately. Like the Pachamama, it's very much a morning coffee for me, but that's when I do most of my coffee drinking, so it's perfect.

Thanks for the continuing great coffee and voyage of coffee discovery - I'm looking forward to my next "find"!

We are pretty happy overall with our purchases from Redber, however sometimes the delivery takes along time, sometimes up to a week and that's without a postal strike. However, the coffee is always good and we will keep trying new flavours from them.

Very pleasant experience with helpful support from the company. Their website could be improved slightly, and I would be even more delighted.

I bought the Christmas coffee as a little gift for my Hubby for the start of advent, we like to make Austrian Christmas biscuits throughout advent. It arrived very quickly beautifully packages and even the box smelt lovely 😄 He loved it too.

I've been buying this roast from Redber for ages, and it's never let me down. There's a rich, velvety nuttiness to it that softens any hint of bitterness and its not overly sweet - just incredibly drinkable! It's so good I don't feel the need to experiment with other roasts - and what kind of true coffee snob would say that!

A good all purpose bean lending itself to a variety of coffee styles and one I buy regularly. This batch took a little while to dial in, with a tendency to under extract.

Great coffee, perfect for double espresso and flat whites. I like new packaging.
