Founded in 1875, Charbonnel et Walker is one of Britain’s first and finest chocolatiers. Charbonnel et Walker chocolates are hand-made to the traditional recipes of Madame Charbonnel. They are particularly renowned for their dark chocolate, made from the finest dark couverture. Resulting in a decadently rich taste and an unforgettable experience. The luxurious hand-made boxes and satin ribbons complete the perfect gift to charm the senses for every occasion.

Encouraged by Edward VII, (then the Prince of Wales), Charbonnel et Walker formed as a partnership between Mrs Walker and Mme Charbonnel, the latter from the esteemed Maison Boissier chocolate house in Paris.

Their original shop opened at 173 New Bond Street in Mayfair.

The rich heritage of Charbonnel et Walker weaves together a magnificent patronage of colourful characters from Royalty and Aristocracy to Socialites and Screen Legends.

We have a delicious range of their famous truffles in a variety of flavours, as well as their indulgent drinking chocolate. All can be paired deliciously with some of our finest teas from The Tea Makers of London, Birchall and T2 Tea.
