Kenya Bora green beans

Reasonable price and good delivery. Beans roasted well and even. Leaving approx. 7 days to degas before grinding and consuming as espresso in a flat white and Americano versions. I found they produced a drink I am happy with. The correct grind was easy to achieve and the dispensing via an E61 group espresso machine was within parameters. This particular bean tasted slight better to my pallet as Americano than Colombia Finca Sofia bean. However, both are good. Will likely be buying again.

Product Review

Roast very nicely and blends well with Monsoon Malabar

Average flavour but difficult to remove chaff

The beans are generally fine and produce acceptable coffee, but the chaff does not come all off during roasting unless you you roast very dark. On a medium roast you end up grinding lots of chaff into your coffee.
