PAPUA NEW GUINEA ELIMBARI - Dark Roast Coffee
Papua New Guinea Elimbari roasted to a dark profile allows the coffee's sugars to develop and caramelise further, creating spicy notes and a deep malt biscuit flavour. The cup is smooth and has a more developed body. Hints of molasses and dark cherry make an excellent espresso. Pair with milk for flavours reminiscent of Black Forest Gateau.

Coffee is Papua New Guinea's second largest agricultural export. The majority of the coffee is grown in the highlands, covering a total of 210,000 acres of ground. Small farmers tend to grow the coffee alongside other crops and the product is mostly certified as 'organic coffee'.

Lovely morning coffee
Really good, especially black, wouldn't go so far to say it's a favourite, lacking a little wow factor. Redbers' Guatemala and Honduras beans have more to offer. Also purchased 1kg of cafe francais blend, which was as expected from a French blend if not disappointing after the wonderful Santos/sumatran blend.
