Full-bodied coffee with good aroma and hints of blackcurrant and sweet molasses.

Kenya Bora is full-bodied, sweet and fruity. Along with this comes good aroma and acidity as can be expected from a good Kenyan estate coffee. To be enjoyed any time of the day.
Kenya coffee is grown in the upper reaches of the country's highlands and along the Mount Kenya region. The rich volcanic soil, temperate climate and seasonal rains produce coffees for Kenya that have strong, distinctly bold flavours and a high, smooth acidity with a mellow after-taste similar to wine.

Kenya Bora.

Have not used it yet. At the moment I am very taken with the Java old brown, but the last time I bought the Kenya from you it was very good.

Quick Service.

Both Kenyan Bora and Majinja Green Beans are excellent. Slow to roast, and hard to burn.

Kenya Bora green beans

So far, I've found the Bora lacks complexity, depth and richness, compared with the Ethiopian Yirga I was roasting before. Disappointed.

lively & tasty brew

A medium roast is plenty enough to bring out very strong blackcurrant aromas & a sharp acidity from the ground roasted beans. It's a lively brew, definately feels like a morning cup to get you going. Lovely after taste aromas on the palatte. I'm no expert but the Kenya Bora exudes quality & punch.
