What is Yellow Catuaí varietal? Yellow Catuaí is a dwarf hybrid of Mundo Novo and Caturra, which was crossbred in Brazil in 1949. Together with Red Catuai, it is a highly resistant cultivar suitable for growing in high altitudes and windy areas. Both Catuais have very refined and clean acidity.
Mixing 50/50 the Medium Dark and Dark Mix makes a perfect day long drink. Tons of caramel and toffee with a nice dark note. No bitterness but a strong Brazilian coffee with natural sweetness
Excellent flavour and aroma. will buy again.
Very good customer service
Excellent service as always. This coffee is robust but also has multi layers of flavour. Well roasted to maximise this without any burnt/bitter aftertaste.
The title says it all really. Not as forceful as some coffees I have bought but still plenty of taste and bite.
