The finer details...
Brazil is the largest producer of coffee in the world and this Santos bean (named after its port) is considered to be a consistently good Brazilian coffee. The coffee beans are hand-picked and dry processed, which involves removing the beans from the cherries once dried. This method allows the sweetness of the fruit to carry through to the cup. This coffee is widely used around the world on its own and in espresso blends.
The delivery and packaging were very good. However the coffee had an odd aroma when we first opened the pack. This did subside by the next day but never had an appealing freshly ground smell. We found the flavour quite bitter and unlike any other coffee we had tried before. We ended up throwing over half of it away. A bitter disappointment. Yours sincerely Nigel Jones
I love coffee. What I'm looking for in the coffee taste is the balance between bitterness and depth - and I found it in Brazil Santos :) I always choose the medium roast beans to minimise that "burnt" taste sometimes appears in the dark roasted coffees. For me it's perfect!
The BRAZIL SANTOS - Medium Roast Coffee tastes and smells great. The customer service is also epic... on my first purchase I order the wrong grind and the guys at Redber were kind enough to send out another batch for free!
I am really enjoying the coffee. Great price Great taste Great delivery That is why I keep coming back and recommending to my friends.
