Colombia, known for its high quality coffee, is the second largest producer of coffee in the world and the largest producer of washed Arabica coffee. Colombian exports total around 12.5 million bags, half to the United States.
Colombia only produces washed Arabica coffee. There are primarily three varieties grown in Colombia and the coffee is referred to by the region in which is grown.
Colombian coffee is graded before shipment according to bean size. This particular type is Excelso - screen size 15-16. Excelso is quite large, but smaller than Supremo. Huila region, located in the southern part of Colombia, has all the attributes that are needed to produce an exceptional coffee. Volcanic soils, high altitude, plenty of rainfall and forests that provide shade. Traditional farming methods are still used to produce this world renowned high quality coffee.
This, and Nicaraguan Antigua, are my regular subscription coffees. Will definitely try some of the new varieties but this pair will take some beating for my palate.
Really easy clicking and collecting. Coffee roasted on day of pick up
Hey I buy a different coffee every time cos I like to try something different on the scale of good being 1(not found a sub Parr yet) and 5 being great they sit at a 4 you can definitely taste the toffee flavour to it as advertised however you need to make it real strong to be at it's best I find. Thanks for another great new taste and I look forward to the next one.
Very smooth coffee no bitter after taste will buy again
I've been ordering Colombia Excelso Huila for months now. The last batch just tastes so different and cheap
