Dark Roast Coffee Beans

Dark roasted coffee beans are roasted closest to their “second crack”.
The bean’s origin flavours start to mellow and become secondary to the flavours of the roasting process. Typically dark chocolate brown in colour and sometimes almost black. You can expect lower amounts of Caffeine than in our lighter roasts. The Coffee’s oils are present on the beans and can often been found in the final cup during the brewing.
